The voice for the voiceless is what came to mind.

I particularly liked that you chose to convey the heartache and struggles from different perspectives of the characters. Such instances weave a web of trauma that is difficult to convey. This really enhanced my understanding as a reader, to the wider picture.

While this is Fiction, it is also not for many people and you have given this the respect and justice it deserves.

Deeply devastating and saddening with a glimpse of light to shine on the darkness.

I enjoyed the ending, while deeply saddened by her journey, the joy of Jacob and the hope he presented in her life made the darkness seem a little less so.

Important subject matter that is still a worldwide issue.
