Yes, you’re quite right.
When the below was bought to my attention, I was mortified! but then again, not really…where do people think all of this shit goes? into thin air?

The world’s largest collection of ocean garbage is growing. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a collection of plastic, floating trash halfway between Hawaii and California, has grown to more than 600,000 square miles, a study found. That’s twice the size of Texas
Back home people are also lazy Sherry Kappel.
That being said? before leaving I was lucky enough to be in a house with like-minded people who taught me a lot about how to minimise waste and be more conscious.
Here in the UK? I’m appalled at my tiny apartments waste every day :( back home it was compost and freshly grown veggies, swap groups for items you didn’t need. Lemon trees that were shared, clippings of plants shared.
I cannot wait to start these little things again. I’m absolutely guilty here of late :(
Yes, they’re small changes, but necessary ones.
As for the water bottles, EUGH such a bloody waste!
Rant over!
