My Collection — Returning to Medium in 2023
I discovered Medium in 2016, this was what I like to refer to as, the good old days, back then, you gave a single clap if you enjoyed a piece of writing. Things were less about click bait and more about community. There were no earnings and I just published what was boiling inside of me, straight from the heart, exploding across your screen.
Not much has changed on that front, I write alternative poetry, it’s usually evocative, covering a wide emotional scope, balancing poignancy, raw pain and tragedy with hope. This is a reflection of my lived life. Wavy and tumultuous, a journey of tyranny and hope, of recovery through the creative lens. I explore esoteric themes and nature, on occasion, I’ll dabble in Fiction and other genres.
I’m real and raw, fire and ice, writing about all the tides.
You could say Medium is where is all started for me, well at least publicly. Prior to Medium, I hadn’t considered myself a writer. Not many people in my life had any idea I had been writing since I was old enough to document the crazy stuff in my head.
