Random and totally made up conversations: pre trip inspirations (1)
“Hear that”? I said
“Hear what? “she replied in confusion ?
“That sound!” I said
“What sound”!? she replied, now slightly frustrated
“Our footsteps silly!”
“huh?” — this followed with massive side eye
Me: “our breath! god dammit”
“Can you not hear the roar from the earth in reply to our every step? “
“Can you not hear the relief in our lungs, can you not feel the hugs from the trees surrounding us, sharing the air we are breathing right now!?”
“ We made it, we are alive and that is something I’m grateful for”
We hugged.
We cried.
Then in unison we both said:
“Jesus, life is beautiful, what a ride huh”? x x
Side note: I have decided after releasing some heavy stuff about my life, some of the more inspirational stuff needs to follow.
I’m currently working ridiculous hours at work as my trip draws closer, so these conversations will be posted when I need inspiration and for anyone else struggling too.
So, be prepared for more WildFlower totally random, totally real talk conversations with herself.
