A Poem
There are days
when temptation
c r e e p s in
especially on days
like today, the sun is
shining and I am
u n w i n d i n g
after a hard day
full of demands
I have tackled well.
Pour a drink and
treat yourself,
I think. Just one
smoke to
e x h a l e
the day away.
I choose coffee
instead, because,
there are days
when temptation
c r e e p s in
and today is not
the day I allow it
to enter.
