Walking through unknown streets with snow beneath our feet. You hold my hand and say, “now I feel like I’m in another country”.
I look at you and smile, as I follow the twinkle that started in your eye as it slowly glides its way across your face.
I squeeze your hand a little tighter knowing this only the beginning for you.
Wonderment washes over me.
