3 months Adam Millett ☺
Volunteered in rural Siem Reap for a bit, stayed mainly in central Siem Reap. Probably the most challenging part of any trip I’ve ever done, but wouldn’t change it. The Khmer children hold a place in my heart.
Afterwards I explored PP, Sihanoukville and surrounding islands(of course Kerfuffle.. woah that was messy! ), Ko Rong Samleon, Kep Beach and yes Kampot.
Had the best time on a motorbike riding around the mountains of Kampot and the National Park near Kep Beach with a girlfriend.
Major wake up calls for Siem Reap and PP, though obviously Angkor was an absolute highlight for me.
The markets in Kampot were totally buzzing and the tastes and smells still linger on my senses man!
Cambodia was the main chunk of a solo trip I planned a few years ago! Packed up my life and decided to go on a journey.
I started in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, back to Thailand then on to the UK to work and travel Europe.
Well, over two years later? And a good chunk of Europe discovered! I just booked my flight for Bali yesterday, my adventure is slowly ending.
Bali for 4 weeks in May then back to Australia for me.
How about you? That is a very condensed version of my 2 years! But you get the drift 😂🙈🙈
